VPC committees
homecoming tailgate
This committee chair takes the lead in organizing one of VPC’s major annual events. The role includes working with VPC, school administration, and volunteers to plan, coordinate, and manage all event details to ensure a successful turnout, raise funds for school programs, and bring the community together.
winter luncheon
This committee chair leads the planning of the Winter Luncheon, a special event to celebrate and thank Sunnyslope teachers and staff. The role includes working with VPC, school administration, and volunteers to create a festive and meaningful experience during the winter season.
5k scamper
This committee chair leads the planning of a fun, family-friendly run/walk event that brings the Sunnyslope community together. The event is all about school spirit and connection, and the role calls for strong organization, teamwork, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for families and students alike.
spiritwear
This committee chair oversees the planning, ordering, and sales of school-branded apparel and merchandise in conjunction with the VPC Board and members. This role helps boost school spirit, supports fundraising efforts, and offers students, families, and staff a variety of fun and functional spiritwear. faculty breakfasts
This committee treats Slope’s amazing faculty to breakfast at their monthly meeting! You only need to volunteer for one breakfast — no ongoing commitment required. Volunteering involves purchasing items from a provided list the day before and dropping them off at the school’s front office by 7:00 a.m. on the morning of the breakfast, in coordination with the VPC President and school administration. teacher appreciation
This committee chair leads efforts to show appreciation for teachers, staff, and administration during Teacher Appreciation Week. Responsibilities include organizing a special gift for teachers and staff, coordinating treats throughout the week, and occasionally gathering donations to help stock the teacher lounge during the year.
restaurant nights
This committee chair coordinates restaurant night fundraisers with local businesses. The role includes reaching out to restaurants, arranging event details, and helping promote each fundraiser to maximize participation and support.
